Summary of Rooftop Photovoltaic Power Station Installation Types

Publish Time:2022-09-15 Sources:
Under the background of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality", various provinces and cities across the country have successively issued pilot programs to comprehensively promote the development of distributed photovoltaics on the whole county's rooftops, and rural roofs have become a hot and valuable resource. Here, GraceSolar can sort out how to install photovoltaics on different rural roofs.

Rural roofs are generally divided into two categories, flat roofs and pitched roofs. Flat roofs are generally cement roofs, and sloping roofs are generally color steel roofs and tile roofs.

1. Ballast roof photovoltaic installation
For ballast roofs, we usually use cement piers as the base part of the bottom of the bracket, and adjust the size of the cement pier according to the load capacity of the roof, which will not damage the waterproofing of the roof. Reinforce the support, which can make the whole power station have strong wind resistance. The cement roof photovoltaic power station needs to adjust the best illumination angle according to the different geographical locations of various places.

2. Color steel roof photovoltaic installation
For the photovoltaic installation of the color steel roof, we adopt a nail-free installation method, and the photovoltaic power station is fixed by means of the oblique support surrounding the roof. The advantage of this installation method is that there is no need to nail the roof, so there is no problem of rain leakage. In order to better make the bracket fit the roof better, we made an arch bracket design for the ridge part.

3. Tile roof photovoltaic installation
The best way to install a tiled roof without damaging the roof is to install photovoltaics by sloping support around the roof, which will not cause damage to the roof tiles. It not only protects the roof but also ensures the firmness of the photovoltaic power station.

The installation angle of the photovoltaic panels of the sloping roof power station is laid according to the slope of the roof itself, and there is no need to increase the bracket to calculate the inclination angle.
